MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's volleyball finished up their road series with Milwaukee on Saturday, after a 3-1 victory over the Panthers on Friday night. The Saturday rematch saw three close sets, but all three sets resulted in Norse victories as NKU downed Milwaukee in three sets. The win saw the Norse improve to 6-1 in Horizon League play, staying at the top of the league standings.

RECORDS: Northern Kentucky: 10-8 (6-1 HL), MKE: 3-17 (3-4 HL)

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– The Norse took all three sets by scores of 25-23, 25-22, and 25-23. NKU led in every statistical category except blocks, where they were out-blocked 6-10. The Norse out-hit Milwaukee .220 to .197 on the day. 
– Sydney Bray led the Norse in kills with 15 and hit .290 on the day. 
– Allison Risley posted another double-double with 14 kills and 15 digs, hitting .306 in the match. 
– Abby Pickard led NKU in assists with 38 in the three-set match. Pickard also had a pair of aces. 
– Lucy Cluxton tallied 13 digs in the match. 
– Kendall Hopewell led the Norse in blocks with four, all assists.

NKU hosts Robert Morris next weekend, with the first match set for 6 PM on Friday, October 17 in Regents Hall.
