DAYTON, Ohio – In a battle for first place in the Horizon League, Northern Kentucky University Norse women's volleyball took on Wright State on Tuesday night. The Norse overpowered the Raiders, taking them down in three sets to emerge victorious. It marks the first time the Norse have swept the Raiders in a season series since 2017, and just the third time in school history.

– Northern Kentucky bested Wright State in every statistical category, including a 6-2 lead in aces and a 7-5 block advantage.

Ava Hoying led NKU with 13 kills, posting a hitting percentage of .343 with four blocks and four digs.

Sydney Bray came through with another great performance, racking up 12 kills on a .333 hitting percentage, two aces, two blocks, and nine digs.

Allison Risley led NKU in digs with 17, also posting nine kills, two aces, and a block.

Abby Pickard totaled a team-high 34 assists with eight digs.

Lucy Cluxton had 14 digs with an ace.
