HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Sitting atop the Horizon League standings, Northern Kentucky University Norse women's volleyball took on Oakland on Friday night. NKU once again looked dominant, but dropped its first set since October 18th in the match. Regardless, the Norse powered past the Golden Grizzlies for their 10th straight victory, this one in four sets.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– NKU hit .268 as a team, and limited the Golden Grizzlies to a .146 hitting percentage. The Norse recorded 11 blocks to Oakland's four, and outperformed them in every major stat except aces. 
– As it has been all season, it was a completely balanced attack for the Norse, as five players recorded eight or more kills. 
– Sydney Bray led the Norse with 14 kills, and also recorded 19 digs and three blocks. 
– Allison Risley also had a double-double, going for 13 kills and 17 digs. 
– Lucy Cluxton led NKU with 22 digs on the night. 
– Ava Hoying went for 13 kills and six digs. 
– Kendall Hopewell was the Norse block leader, with seven total, including a pair of solos. She also had eight kills. 
– Ivey Stocks had nine kills and three blocks.
– Abby Pickard racked up a match-high 40 assists and also had six digs. 
– Northern Kentucky earned its longest win streak since 2011.
