MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – After a pair of home losses in their most recent games, Northern Kentucky University Norse men's basketball hit the road after a holiday break to take on Robert Morris, who entered Monday night's contest undefeated at home. In a tight battle, it was the Norse who bounced back for the road victory, hanging on for a two-point win.

– Northern Kentucky shot 53.8% from the floor, pounding the paint with 46 points inside the restricted area. NKU shot just 3-12 from three, but got to the line at a high rate, knocking down 20 of 27 attempts.
– The Norse were outrebounded 28 to 38 in the game, grabbing just five offensive rebounds, their fewest in a single game this season.
– NKU won the turnover battle with 15 turnovers forced, including ten steals, while recording just 12 turnovers themselves. The Norse recorded 16 points off turnovers and 15 fast break points in the game.

Donovan Oday led the Norse with 16 points off the bench, getting half of his at the free throw line, where he finished 8-9. Oday also grabbed three rebounds and recorded three steals.

LJ Wells went for 14 points and eight rebounds, recording two steals. Wells was efficient on the night, going 7-11 on field goal attempts.

Dan Gherezgher scored 14 points on 4-10 shooting and 6-8 shooting from the line, with three rebounds and two assists, but also had four turnovers.

Ethan Elliott had a solid game with 11 points, three steals, two assists, and no turnovers.

Kael Robinson also finished in double figures with 11 points, grabbing three rebounds and dishing out three assists.
GAME NOTES
- NKU hit just three three-pointers in the game, marking just the sixth occasion since joining Division I that the Norse have won a game while making three or fewer threes.

Donovan Oday recorded his seventh game this season with 15+ points off the bench, ranking second nationally behind Colorado's Isaiah Johnson.
