OXFORD, Ala. -- Northern Kentucky baseball secured a series victory on Saturday, as the Norse toppled Bellarmine for the second straight day in Alabama behind another stellar offensive output.
NKU scored nine runs in the first three innings, and 11 runs in the first five on the way to victory.

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
- Aaron Boster got the start for NKU and picked up his first win of the season, throwing five innings and allowing just a pair of runs on two hits and three walks. The lefty struck out five Knights.
- Out of the bullpen, Noah Sackenheim threw three innings and Carson French locked down the Knights on just eight pitches to secure the victory.
- Gabe Miranda starred for the Norse for the second straight day. The redshirt sophomore finished 3-4 with a homer, a double, and four RBI. Miranda finished a triple short of the cycle in the win.
- Tyler Shaneyfelt finished 2-3 with a triple, reaching base four times and scoring four runs. Shaneyfelt stole a base as well, one of three for the Norse on the day.
- Braydon Rodgers finished 1-3, drawing a walk and driving in a pair with a double.
- Leadoff man Nolan Sparks finished 2-4 with a double and an RBI.
- Sam Bond drove in a pair of runs with a single as part of a 1-5 day.
- Brennan Rowe, the Norse shortstop, finished 2-5 with a mammoth solo homer over the batter's eye. Rowe had a pair of RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 1-0 after the top of the first, NKU plated three in the home half. Gabe Miranda singled up the middle to drive home a pair before Josh Williams drove in Braydon Rodgers with a sac fly.
- NKU scored four more in the second, as Nolan Sparks kicked it off with an RBI single before Sam Bond drove in a pair with a single. Brennan Rowe capped the inning with an RBI single.
- In the third, back-to-back RBI doubles from Braydon Rogers and Gabe Miranda gave NKU a 9-1 lead.
- NKU scored two more in the fifth, as Tyler Shaneyfelt scored on a groundout before Gabe Miranda launched a solo home run, his second in as many days.
- In the seventh, Brennan Rowe's solo homer plated the 12th and final run of the day for NKU.
