HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University Norse Women's Basketball hosted Senior Day and its final home game of the 2025 regular season against Wright State on Saturday afternoon. The Norse blew a 16-point third-quarter lead and fell to the Raiders, 68-62 on their home floor.

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
- Macey Blevins poured in 17 points, adding four assists and two rebounds on her senior day. 
- Mya Meredith got back in double figures with 12 points, also grabbing five rebounds. 
- Abby Wolterman grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds, recorded three steals, and scored eight points. Nine of Wolterman's 13 rebounds came on the defensive end. 
- Halle Idowu scored 11 points, adding three rebounds and three assists. 

NORSE NOTES
- The Norse looked formidable on both sides of the ball in the first half, taking a nine-point lead into the halftime break. They allowed Wright State to score just 25 points in the first half and shot 5-10 from beyond the arc through 20. 
- Wright State crawled back into the game late in the third, making five threes in under three and a half minutes. They cut the Norse deficit to just six entering the fourth quarter. 
- NKU led for nearly all of the fourth quarter as well, but Macey Blevins' three with 3:09 remaining were the last points the Norse put on the board in the contest. Wright State took the lead with 56 seconds remaining and sealed the victory with made free throws and missed Norse opportunities.

Northern Kentucky Women's Basketball now ends the season with a pivotal two-game road trip, taking on Detroit Mercy and Oakland next week.
