HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — It has been a historic year for the NKU Swim program, as the Norse have completed their first regular season, hired the first assistant coach in program history, and much more.
On Monday, the Norse men's swimming team was honored with the Scholar All-America award by the CSCAA.
The recognition honors programs that achieve the highest standards in the classroom while representing their institution in the pool.
"Coach Kevin Woodhull-Smith, their staff, and the entire team have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to success both academically and athletically, setting a standard of excellence we can all be proud of," said Samantha Barany, the Executive Director of the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association.
NKU's men's swimming team finished with a 3.156 GPA in the Fall 2024 semester. The Norse compete next in the Horizon League Championships, beginning February 19.
