INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Northern Kentucky swim wrapped up its historic inaugural season over the weekend, competing in the Horizon League Championships for the first time in program history.
The Norse set an abundance of school records at the league championships, and will continue practicing throughout the Spring and Summer ahead of the program's second season in 2025-26.

HIGHLIGHTS
- NKU's 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Jeffrey Wenker, Tyler Cukovecki, Ethan Johnson, and Conner Norton picked up 24 points in their race with a final time of 1:34.62 (school record).
- Frank Runge, Dimiter Zafirov, Jack Miranda, and Patrick Gibbons finished the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay in 6:48.97 — picking up 26 points with a school record.
- Frank Runge picked up five points with a school record in the 500 Yard Freestyle.
- Ethan Johnson set a school record in the 200 yard IM (1:54.54).
- Chloe Loftis set both a personal best and school record in the 50 freestyle (27.23), as did Patrick Gibbons on the men's side at 20.68.
- Runge set another school record in the 500 yard free (4:33.09), breaking his own record and setting a personal best.
- Khizar Shah's 50.37 in the 100 yard butterfly marked a school record.
- In total, the Norse set 18 new school records at the Championships.
