Women’s Basketball Falls in #HLWBB Quarterfinals at Robert Morris

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Northern Kentucky Women's Basketball closed out the season on Thursday night, falling to Robert Morris in the Horizon League Quarterfinals.

NKU was able to hang around with RMU until a 6-0 run in the middle of the third quarter increased the Colonial lead to 13. The Norse tried to battle back in the fourth, as a Macey Blevins and-one cut it to eight with four minutes to go, but Robert Morris put the clamps on NKU late, only scoring three points over the final 4:06.

- A 9-19 night at the free throw line hampered NKU's ability to stay in/come back in the game. NKU also had a wealth of second-chance opportunities, grabbing 15 offensive rebounds, but only scored 11 second-chance points.
- Apart from Idowu, the Norse only hit one three-pointer, going 4-18 from distance and 1-12 without Idowu.
