MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Northern Kentucky Women's Basketball closed out the season on Thursday night, falling to Robert Morris in the Horizon League Quarterfinals.
NKU was able to hang around with RMU until a 6-0 run in the middle of the third quarter increased the Colonial lead to 13. The Norse tried to battle back in the fourth, as a
Macey Blevins and-one cut it to eight with four minutes to go, but Robert Morris put the clamps on NKU late, only scoring three points over the final 4:06.

Halle Idowu led the Norse with 15 points and eight rebounds. She also knocked down three triples, which tied a season-high.

Macey Blevins finished with 12 points, three rebounds, and two steals.

Abby Wolterman scored 10 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out three assists.

Mya Meredith ended up with nine points and five rebounds.
NORSE NOTES
- Noa Givon caused problems all night long for the Norse defense as she finished with 23 points. She was one of four Colonials to log 36+ minutes in the game, as they kept their rotation tight.
- A 9-19 night at the free throw line hampered NKU's ability to stay in/come back in the game. NKU also had a wealth of second-chance opportunities, grabbing 15 offensive rebounds, but only scored 11 second-chance points.
- Apart from Idowu, the Norse only hit one three-pointer, going 4-18 from distance and 1-12 without Idowu.
