MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Northern Kentucky baseball took on Milwaukee on Friday, opening up a big weekend series with the Panthers at Franklin Field.
The Norse and Panthers went to extra innings, but the Norse were unable to secure a victory in the series opener.

- Conner Linn for the start for the Norse, throwing 5.2 innings. Linn struck out six while allowing only three runs.
- Shawn Parnell threw 3.1 innings while allowing only one run, striking out six.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 1-0, NKU plated all four of its runs in the third, first on a two-run single by Jake Paulick before Marcus Harrison plated two with a base hit of his own.
- Milwaukee scored four unanswered from there, tying the game in the seventh and winning in the 11th.
