HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Horizon League announced its full conference schedules for both men's and women's basketball on Thursday, with the Norse set to open the conference season in early December. 

NKU men's basketball tips off the Horizon League season at home on December 3rd against Cleveland State. NKU women's basketball opens the following night, hosting reigning league champion Green Bay on December 4. 

The Horizon League announced full conference schedules for all member institutions on Thursday.

Following the conference opener at Cleveland State, the Norse will travel to Purdue Fort Wayne on December 6, then return to Truist Arena to take on Oakland on December 17. On New Year's Day, the Norse host IU Indy, their first of four home contests in January. NKU also plays host to Youngstown State (1/4), Detroit Mercy (1/15), and last year's league champ, Robert Morris (1/17). 

In February, the Norse host four more conference contests, starting with Green Bay (2/4), then Milwaukee (2/7), Purdue Fort Wayne (2/18), and ending the regular season against Wright State (2/28).

On the women's side, the Norse tip off the Horizon League season with back-to-back home games, hosting Robert Morris on December 7 following their opener against Green Bay. The Norse then take on the other two teams from last year's final four, Cleveland State (12/16) and Purdue Fort Wayne (12/29), on the road to make for a challenging start to the conference season. 

In January, the Norse have five home games, starting with IU Indy (1/2), then Detroit Mercy (1/4), Milwaukee (1/14), Purdue Fort Wayne (1/24), and Cleveland State (1/31). The Norse have three home games in February, hosting Oakland on February 3, Youngstown State on February 19, and Wright State on February 21. The Norse close out the regular season in Michigan, as they did in the 2025 campaign, traveling to Oakland (2/25) and Detroit Mercy (2/28) to close out the regular season.
