OXFORD, Ohio – Northern Kentucky University Norse Women's Volleyball played the first of two consecutive matches against Miami (OH) on Friday night, with the Norse looking dominant in the road contest. NKU took all three sets in close fashion, executing well in all facets of the game.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- As a team, NKU hit .299 on the night, with four different attackers posting a .350 hitting percentage or higher. The Norse also had eight total blocks in the match. 
- Allison Risley led the Norse offensively with a dominant performance, racking up 19 kills with a .405 hitting percentage. 
- Sydney Bray finished with 11 kills, four blocks, and 17 digs in a balanced offensive and defensive game for the junior.
- Ivey Stocks had ten kills, hitting .400 and had four total blocks. 
- Kendall Hopewell put together an attacking line of 8-2-13 with four total blocks. 
- Abby Pickard racked up 48 assists in just three sets. 
- Lucy Cluxton was the Norse dig leader with 21 on the evening, also posting seven assists. 

UP NEXT
NKU hosts Miami (OH) in a rematch on Saturday at 4 PM, with the match being the Norse's home opener.
