Robinson’s career night leads Norse past Milwaukee for fourth-straight victory

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's basketball took its three-game win streak on the road on Friday night, battling Milwaukee. The Norse jumped out to a big first-half lead and held on in the second for a dominant victory as Kael Robinson put together a career night.

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
– Northern Kentucky dominated on the glass, winning the rebound battle 43-29, including 18-10 on the offensive boards. The Norse scored 25 points off those second chances.
– The Norse also did well in transition, scoring 28 points on the fast break and 20 off turnovers, despite only forcing nine Panther cough-ups. 
Kael Robinson led the Norse with 29 points on nine three-pointers. He also grabbed seven rebounds and had a steal. 
Donovan Oday had a great night off the bench, going for 21 points on 6-9 shooting, grabbing six rebounds, and recording three steals. 
Tae Dozier stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with 13 points, ten rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block. It marked his first double-double of the season. 
Ethan Elliott dished out eight assists on the night, also scoring five points and grabbing four rebounds. 
LJ Wells grabbed nine rebounds, but fouled out of the game with just five points. 

GAME NOTES
– Robinson's 29-point outing marked the fourth-highest scoring night of his career, and his highest as a Norse. It also marked the most points in a game by any Norse this season, and tied for the seventh-most in any Horizon League game this year. 
– Robinson's nine made three pointers tied the most in a single game in Northern Kentucky's Division I history, as Tyler Sharpe also made nine against Youngstown State on January 16, 2020. It marked the 24th occasion that a player has made nine or more threes in a single game this season, and the first in the Horizon League this year. 
Donovan Oday recorded his 13th game with 10-plus points off the bench, tied for the national lead. It marked his 10th game with 15-plus points off the bench, something no other player in Division I has done this season.
