NKU Men’s Basketball announces home exhibition with UT Martin

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Norse fans will get an early look at the 2026-27 Northern Kentucky University Norse men's basketball team at a public exhibition against UT Martin, set for 5:30 PM on October 14 at Truist Arena.

The contest marks the first public home men's basketball exhibition since the Norse took on Mount Saint Joseph in November 2023, and the first against a Division I opponent since the Norse joined the NCAA's top tier in 2012.

"While 7 p.m. is our typical weeknight game time, the opportunity to add a home exhibition against a Division I opponent was something we wanted to make happen for our team and our fans," said NKU Vice President and Director of Athletics Mike Odom. "With UT Martin's travel schedule and previously scheduled commitments the following day, a 5:30 p.m. start allowed us to make the game work. We're excited to give Norse fans an additional opportunity to see our team at Truist Arena and hope they'll come out and get an early look at this year's group."

Single game tickets can be purchased here. The game is included in all current Northern Kentucky season ticket packages. Get your season tickets today to see the Norse on October 14 and at 16 regular season home games!
