NKU stunned in home loss to Robert Morris

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's volleyball continued Horizon League play on Friday night, taking on Robert Morris. The two squads entered the match on opposite sides of the Horizon League standings, with NKU in second and RMU in tenth, but the Norse came out flat with a set one loss. NKU picked things up in sets two and three, hitting over .200 in both frames, winning both. Northern Kentucky just couldn't get things going late, though, as the Colonials silenced a late Norse set four run to push it to five, and put the Norse down in five.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– NKU out-hit the Colonials, .141-.130., allowing its lowest opposing attack percentage in a five-set match this season. RMU won in all other statistical categories except blocks, with Northern Kentucky recording 14 to RMU's ten. 
– Katie Noschang was a big bright spot in the Norse loss, delivering a career-best 15.5 points. Noschang had eight kills on a .500 hitting percentage, eleven total blocks, an ace, two assists, and a dig. Her 11 blocks were the most by any Norse in a match this season. 
– Ivey Stocks had 14 kills on 37 attacks with two blocks. 
– Ava Hoying posted 11 kills with four blocks. 
– Sydney Bray had eight kills and 23 digs with seven blocks. 
– Luci Heid posted eight kills on 25 attacks with four digs. 
– Abby Pickard recorded 41 assists on the night. 
– Daisy Cluxton led the Norse with 28 digs. 
– Allison Risley recorded 19 digs, but had just one kill on 20 attacks.
