CHICAGO, Ill. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's volleyball hit the road on Thursday, traveling up to Chicago for its first of two MIVA matches in Illinois. The Norse took on #8 Loyola Chicago, another tall task in the stacked conference, as the Norse were swept and fell to 0-5 in league play at the hands of the Ramblers.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– NKU couldn't keep up with the Ramblers, getting out-hit .545-.048 on the evening. Loyola only posted five attacking errors, while the Norse had 19. 19 of NKU's points came on Rambler service errors. 
– Devlin Biggs starred as NKU's points leader with 11, racking up a match-high nine kills with a solo block and an ace. 
– Matt Cosgrove had six kills on 12 attacks. 
– Will McElveen led the Norse with 21 assists on the night, also leading the squad with five digs.
