ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's volleyball wrapped up its Illinois trip on Friday, taking on #15 Lewis a day after being swept by #8 Loyola. The Norse were again swept, as they continued play in their gauntlet of a MIVA schedule

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– The Norse were out-hit .288-.134 on the night, mostly thanks to a particularly lopsided third set where NKU posted a sub-.100 hitting mark while the Flyers hit .476. Overall, the Flyers led in every statistical category except digs, which ended tied at 22 apiece. 
– Will McElveen ended as NKU's points, kills and digs leader, finishing with 7.5 points, seven kills, and five digs.
– Matt Cosgrove finished with six points, going for five kills and two block assists while recording three digs. 
– Adam Blair posted a 5-0-9 attacking line with a pair of block assists.
– Nick Whitley led the squad in assists with 19, also recording three aces and four digs.
