HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's volleyball kept rolling through the MIVA gauntlet on Thursday evening, taking on #13 McKendree. It marked NKU's fourth consecutive match against a nationally ranked opponent, and sixth overall this season. The Norse dropped the first two sets of the match, but rallied to win the third, marking NKU's first MIVA set victory of the season. The Norse dropped set four, 25-19 to take a three-one loss on the night.

– Northern Kentucky was out-hit .367-.291 on the evening, posting 50 kills and 20 attacking errors on 103 attacks. The Norse were beat in aces, 14-4 and blocks, 11-3, but led the Bearcats in assists, 49-46, kills, 50-47, and digs, 33-26.

Griffin Wheatley posted a season-high 15 kills on a .281 hitting clip, also totaling four digs.

Drew Palmer had 11 kills while hitting .238 with three digs and a block assist.

Will McElveen had ten kills, seven assists, four digs, and an ace.

Adam Blair posted an attacking line of 7-1-12 with a solo block and two digs.

Nick Whitley had 33 assists, nine digs, and four kills with three aces.

Juanmarco Diaz put up a team-high ten digs with five assists on the night.
