HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University Norse men's basketball team looked to end a five-game slide on Saturday evening, taking on Milwaukee in a homecoming matchup. After a slow first half, Northern Kentucky led for the entire second period and clutch buckets from
LJ Wells and
Dan Gherezgher sealed a Norse victory.

– Northern Kentucky shot 40.9% from the field, 35.7% from three, and 17-23 from the free throw line, while Milwaukee shot 45.3% from the field, 36.8% from deep, and 7-11 at the free throw line.
– The turnover battle was split 11-11, but NKU scored 20 points off turnovers to Milwaukee's six.

Dan Gherezgher led the Norse with 22 points on 8-16 shooting from the field, going 5-10 from deep. He also recorded four rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

LJ Wells scored 12 points and grabbed a pair of rebounds.

Tae Dozier scored 11 points, shooting 3-6 from deep. He also had five rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal.

Donovan Oday scored ten points, also recording three steals and three rebounds.

Ethan Elliott played 37 minutes, scoring six points and dishing out a game-high six assists.
