HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – After winning its first set in MIVA play against #13 McKendree on Thursday night, Northern Kentucky University Norse men's volleyball continued conference action on Saturday afternoon, taking on #10 Lindenwood. Northern Kentucky's quest for its first conference victory was again delayed as the Norse were swept by the now first-place Lions.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– Northern Kentucky was out-hit .434-.190 on the afternoon, including allowing the Lions to hit .647 in their first set. The Norse finished strong with a .400 hitting mark in set three, but it wasn't enough as NKU couldn't convert a set point and fell to the Lions, 35-16, 25-18, 26-24.
– The Norse were bested in every major statistical category, including kills 46-25, aces 6-1, and digs 20-15.
– Leading the Norse with 9.5 points on the day was JD Diaz, who led NKU with eight kills and two total blocks, while recording two digs.

Will McElveen had five kills and 12 assists, while
Matt Cosgrove posted five kills on a .364 hitting mark.

Nick Whitley matched McElveen's team-high 12 assists.
