TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Northern Kentucky University Norse baseball wrapped up its series with #20 Florida State on Saturday. The Norse scored three runs in each of the first two contests, and did so on Sunday, but allowed a season-high 17 Seminole runs in the contest, with ten of those coming in the first inning.

GAME SUMMARY
– FSU scored ten runs in the first inning, and that pretty much sealed the game for the Norse. NKU scored three runs in the second inning, but were shut out for the remainder of the contest. 

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
– NKU threw five pitchers in the contest, none throwing more than an inning and two thirds, as Shawn Parnell was the only NKU player to not allow a run in his time on the mound, striking out a pair in an inning of work. All Norse pitchers who appeared allowed at least three baserunners while on the mound. 
– It wasn't exactly a banner outing for the Norse bats, either, who tallied four hits and three runs. Leading the way for NKU hitters was Marcus Harrison, who finished 2-3 with a run, while Landon Springmeyer and Zach Pomatto each finished with a double.
