FRANKLIN, Wis. – Northern Kentucky University Norse baseball took on Milwaukee in the second of a three-game set at Franklin Field on Friday, with the Norse looking to even up the series at one apiece. The Norse trailed 4-10 in the top of the eighth when the game went into a lightning delay that eventually suspended the contest until Saturday. In the resumption of the game, the Panthers escaped a bases-loaded jam and scored four in the bottom half to run-rule the Norse. In the series finale immediately following, the Norse were put in a massive hole early and never got out of it.
