HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse baseball continued its series with Oakland on Saturday, looking to keep it rolling following a 30-9 victory on Friday. Norse pitchers EJ Miramontes and Elijah Green combined for seven scoreless innings as Northern Kentucky again run-ruled the Golden Grizzlies, this time by a score of 10-0.

GAME SUMMARY
– Marcus Harrison opened the scoring in the first with a three-run homer, the first of four NKU longballs on the afternoon. Ethan Thomas, Jake Paulick, and Landon Springmeyer went on to homer as the Norse cruised to a 10-0 victory. 

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
– Northern Kentucky starting pitcher EJ Miramontes moved to 3-4 on the day as he threw four scoreless innings, allowing just one it and one walk. Elijah Green relieved him and threw three scoreless, allowing four hits and no walks with a pair of strikeouts. Green earned the first save of his career with his three-inning effort. 
– Jake Paulick reached base in all four plate appearances, batting 2-2 with a homer and a double while walking twice. The Norse backstop also scored twice and drove in two runs. 
– Marcus Harrison went 1-2 with two walks, a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored. 
– Ethan Thomas batted 2-4 with a solo home run. 
– Landon Springmeyer batted 1-2 with a two-run home run while drawing two walks. 
– Josh Williams finished 2-4 with an RBI double and a run scored.
