HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse baseball took on Eastern Kentucky in a midweek clash on Tuesday, with the Norse looking to enact revenge from a loss down in Richmond earlier in the season. The Colonels never trailed in a 16-6 win over the Norse.

GAME SUMMARY
– After a scoreless first, Eastern Kentucky broke through with three in the second, before eventually taking a 7-0 lead midway through the fourth. Northern Kentucky rallied in the fourth with six runs, including a three-run homer from Brazer, but the Colonels' offensive production continued throughout as the Norse bats were shut down down the stretch.

– Northern Kentucky threw seven pitchers in the contest, all allowing at least one earned run.
MJ Castaneda led the team in strikeouts with three, while starter
Ryan Gill was saddled with the loss after allowing three runs in 1.2 innings.
