NKU Men’s Soccer unveils 2026 schedule

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's soccer released its 2026 schedule on __, as the Norse gear up for year one under new head coach Sean Teepen. 

NKU kicks off the season with a pair of exhibitions, first at Kentucky on August 8th, before hosting Evansville on August 15. 

Northern Kentucky officially opens the season on the road, taking on UNC Asheville on August 20. The Norse return home for two more in August, first against Southern Indiana on August 24, before hosting Bellarmine on August 30. 

The Norse kick off September with an away match at Ohio State on September 3. Horizon League play starts the following week as the Norse make the trek up to Green Bay for a September 9 matchup with the Phoenix. NKU's league home opener comes on September 12 against Milwaukee. Northern Kentucky hits the road for another Horizon League match on September 19 at IU Indy. 

NKU then has two weeks off from Horizon League play, playing at Dayton on September 22 and hosting Bowling Green on the 29th to wrap up the month. 

October starts with the Norse taking on the Horizon League's newest member, NIU, on the third of the month in DeKalb. The Norse return home to host Wright State on October 7, then go on the road again for an October 10 matchup with Cleveland State. NKU will host Robert Morris on October 17 to wrap up a stretch of four-straight league contests. 

The Norse's final stretch of the season starts across the river at Xavier, taking on the Musketeers on October 20, before coming back home to play Detroit Mercy on October 24. Northern Kentucky will play its final road match of the season on October 30 at Oakland, before hosting its final match on November 3 against Purdue Fort Wayne.
