Hoops & Scoops set for October 6 at Truist Arena

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky men's and women's basketball are excited to host Norse Nation for Hoops and Scoops on Tuesday, October 6 at Truist Arena! 
Both programs are set to open highly anticipated campaigns in 2026-27, and this is the first opportunity for NKU fans to get a look at each squad ahead of their respective seasons. 
Fans, students, & families are invited to Truist Arena on October 6 for a night of basketball, free Whit's Frozen Custard, inflatables, face painting, and more.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 6 | Doors at 6, Event at 7
WHERE: Truist Arena

DETAILS
  • Doors will open for fans at 6 PM
  • Ice cream will be passed out on the East Concourse (where fans will enter the Arena) from 6 until supplies run out. 
  • From 6-7 PM, guests have the opportunity to be involved in games & activities with Northern Kentucky student-athletes. All games and activities will close at 7 PM. 
  • Following player introductions, Coach Hans will speak to the crowd during the women's basketball court time, with Coach Horn doing the same during men's basketball court time. 
  • Fans can then head to the court where they will receive posters and autographs from the teams. 
  • EVERYONE in attendance will receive a voucher for a ticket offer as well as a voucher for Whit's Custard while supplies last.
  • Northern Kentucky Athletics looks forward to seeing Norse Nation back in Truist Arena on Tuesday, October 6!
