Norse drop road contest to IU Indy

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After a road victory on Thursday afternoon at Northern Illinois, Northern Kentucky University Norse women's soccer continued Horizon League play with a Sunday clash at IU Indy. The Norse trailed early, allowing a seventh-minute goal, but Ayla Conn and Riley Evans scored in the 32nd and 34th minutes to put NKU ahead before halftime. IU Indy responded in the second half, though, scoring a pair of goals including a 71st-minute winner as the Norse fell on the road.

– Ayla Conn scored the first goal of the match, the second of her career. 
– Megan Molner assisted on Conn's goal to bring her season point total up to 16, which leads the Horizon League.

– Caitlin Evans led NKU with three shots on goal.
