Norse Volleyball Falls to Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Northern Kentucky University Norse volleyball wrapped up the Best Western Invitational on Saturday evening by taking on the hosts, Bowling Green. The last time the two sides faced off, a week prior in Columbus, the Norse took the first two sets before getting reverse-swept. On Saturday, the Norse took set one but then lost the next three, falling to 1-5 in the 2026 season.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– NKU was outhit .097-.283 in the match, getting bested in hitting percentage in every set. The only major statistical category NKU led in was service aces, recording 12 to Bowling Green's six. 
– Ivey Stocks was the standout for the Norse, recording team-highs of 14 points and 12 kills on a .632 hitting percentage. Stocks had three total blocks on the night. She was named to the Best Western Invitational All-Tournament Team. 
– Sydney Bray had five kills, four aces, six digs, and three blocks. 
– Abby Pickard went for 31 assists, three aces, nine digs, a block, and two kills. 
– Katie Noschang had six kills, two digs, and two blocks. 
– Ava Hoying had eight kills, two blocks, an ace, and two digs. 
– Daisy Cluxton recorded a team-high 15 digs along with two aces and three assists.
