Norse Triathlon comes in third at Greyhound Splash & Dash

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's triathlon continued the 2026 campaign on Sunday afternoon, going up to Indianapolis for the Greyhound Splash & Dash, hosted by UIndy. The vent, held at Ruth Lilly Fitness Center, consisted of a 400-yard swim and a 5K run. The Norse also competed against Trine and Chicago State. NKU finished third out of the four teams, scoring 70 points. 

Like the first two races, NKU's top finisher on Sunday was Charlotte Cunningham, who finished in 26:21 for a fourth-place overall finish. Coming behind Cunningham in 11th & 12th were Tia Weiss and Fallon Bright, respectively, who finished with times of 29:25 and 29:32. Other finishers for the Norse included 18th-place Maggie Wilson, 20th-place Hannah Rachford, and 23rd-place Sophie McEwen. 

Up next, NKU heads back to Beaver Falls for the second time this season, competing in the Beaver County Tri Cup.
