Biography
AT NKU: Faulkner enters his fourth year with the Norse...outstanding point guard who plays with tremendous effort...excellent scorer and passer...developed into clutch scorer as a junior...great team leader and fine student who was named to the NABC Honors Court for outstanding academic performance. 2011-12: Started all 30 games…averaged 10.0 points and shot 84.1 percent from the free-throw line…dished out a team-leading 130 assists (4.3 apg)…named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference second team…scored a career-high 24 points against Findlay in the NCAA Tournament. 2010-11: Played in 30 games and started three times…averaged 4.3 points per game…dished out 51 assists…shot 78.9 percent from the free-throw line. 2009-10: Saw action in 30 games and started 13 times...averaged 4.0 points per game...dished out 80 assists and collected 28 steals...made 16 shots from 3-point range...dished out a career-best 12 assists against Edinboro (Pa.) on Nov. 27, 2009.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Elliott County High School...averaged 16.0 points per game as a senior and helped Elliott County advance to the state semifinals...earned all-state honors and helped the Lions win three consecutive regional championships...led Elliott County to 83 wins in his final three seasons...scored more than 2,000 career points in high school...the only player in history to earn three straight 16th Region Tournament most valuable player honors...coached by Rick Mays.
