AT NKU: Palmer begins his first year at NKU…a transfer from Iowa…outstanding post player who can score, rebound and defend…could challenge for All-GLVC honors this season.

AT IOWA: Played two seasons for Iowa…averaged 4.1 points per game in 2008-09…poured in a career-high 21 points against Wisconsin last season…also scored 19 points against Purdue last year.

AT SETON HALL: Began his college career at Seton Hall in 2005-06…saw action in 27 games and averaged 3.1 points and scored a season-high 11 points in a win over Morgan State…also added eight points in games against Villanova, North Carolina State and DePaul.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Oak Hill (Va.) Academy…averaged 5.8 points and 5.8 rebounds while shooting 56 percent from the field as a part-time starter for a team that was ranked as the top team in the nation…prior to that, Palmer played for three seasons at Antioch High School…averaged 14 points a game as a junior…competed in the 2003 Nike Hoop Jamboree and the 2003 Nike All-American Camp.

PERSONAL: Born on July 16, 1986…son of David and Sharon Palmer.
