AT NKU: Begins her first season at NKU ... excellent blocker with great potential ... could contend for playing time in the middle this season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Geneva High School ... helped Geneva post a 35-3 record last season by recording 152 kills and 50 blocks … also named the Vikings’ most improved player and earned All-Western Sun Conference honors … Geneva also won the Western Sun Conference with a 14-0 record, and the 35 victories were the most in school history.
PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 25, 1992 ... daughter of Steve and Kim Sommer.
