AT UM EASTERN SHORE: Saw action in 19 games last season as a freshman for Maryland Eastern Shore...started three times and averaged 2.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per game...shot 44.1 percent from the field and collected 11 steals.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Pocomoke (Md.) High School...helped Pocomoke win the Maryland 1A East Regional championship as a junior.

PREP SCHOOL: Played one year in prep school at Rise Academy (Pa.) and was rated 78th in Hoopscoop's ranking of the nation's top 100 fifth-year players...averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds per game.

PERSONAL: Born on April 29, 1988...son of Barbara Cotton.
