AT NKU: Van Hoose begins his fourth season at NKU...transfer who originally signed with the University of Evansville...excellent outside shooter and scorer...will provide perimeter scoring in the backcourt this season. 2010-11: Saw action in 30 games…averaged 5.7 points per game…was 51-for-118 from 3-point range…scored a career-high 21 points against Bellarmine in the regional semifinals…was 6-for-8 from 3-point range in that game against Bellarmine. 2009-10: Played in 15 games...averaged 3.1 points per game...finished 12-for-36 from 3-point range. 2008-09: Saw action in 18 games...averaged 3.3 points per game...was 16-for-55 from 3-point range...scored 15 points to help NKU defeat Rockhurst on the road.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Russell High School...averaged 20 points and 6.1 rebounds as a senior...scored a school-record 1,907 career points for the Red Devils...named Eastern Kentucky Conference Player of the Year in 2007...earned 16th Region most valuable player accolades and was nominated for McDonald's All-American...coached by Steve Dodd.

PERSONAL: Born on Sept. 15, 1987...son of Robert and Sandy Van Hoose.
