ATHLETICS DIRECTOR EXCELLENCE FUND
With Christina Roybal's leadership at Northern Kentucky University beginning in the coming months, NKU Athletics is establishing an Athletics Director Excellence Fund. This fund will provide athletics leadership with an avenue to utilize philanthropic dollars to address ever-changing priority needs that benefit Norse student-athletes and NKU Athletics programs.

"I am very excited and honored to serve as Northern Kentucky University's Vice President and Director of Athletics. I believe NKU is a special place where student-athletes will excel academically, athletically and can build engaging and lasting relationships with the community," says Roybal, who joins the Norse family from the University of Northern Iowa. 
At NKU, Christina will lead more than 240 student-athletes who compete in 17 Division 1 programs. With three teams reaching the NCAA Tournament since becoming eligible in 2016 and a department-wide 3.37 average GPA for eight consecutive years, Norse student-athletes achieve both athletically and academically. 

The Athletics Director Excellence Fund will tackle immediate needs for NKU's high-achieving student-athletes while maintaining and growing the Norse Athletics program. Celebrate Christina Roybal's leadership of Norse Athletics and support the establishment of this fund by making a gift today.
