HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, Ind….compiled a .395 batting average as a senior…finished with 10 homeruns, five doubles and three triples… completed senior season with a  3-1 record in nine appearances on the mound…collected 27 strikeouts and pitched one shutout…coached by Eric Nielsen.
