Brenden Stowers begins his first season as a graduate assistant coach at NKU. Stowers earned All-America honors for the Norse in 2003 after leading the team to the GLVC Tournament title. He was also named the most outstanding player of the 2003 GLVC Tournament.


Stowers finished his NKU career with 1,311 points. He averaged 16.2 points per game as a senior and made a Norse single-season record 187 free throws in 2002-03. Stowers is the son of NKU Athletics Hall of Famer Jeff Stowers, a former Norse men's basketball standout.
