Clint Nagel begins his second season as an assistant coach at Northern Kentucky University. Nagel earned four letters at Coastal Carolina University from 2001-05, and he led the team in rebounding his junior and senior seasons. As a senior, he pulled down 6.3 rebounds per game and scored 5.9 points per contest.
Nagel was a three-time All-Big South Conference Academic Team member and later played overseas for the Ulster Elks in Ireland, where he led the Irish Superleague in rebounding at 15.3 boards per contest.
A native of Loveland, Ohio, Nagel graduated from Moeller High School. In his final game at Moeller, Nagel hit the final shot in the Crusaders’ old gym, a buzzer-beating basket that lifted Moeller past Elder for the Greater Catholic League South championship.
Nagel also spent four years as an assistant basketball coach at Moeller and worked in skill development.
