AT NKU: Gagai begins his fourth year with the Norse...outstanding scorer and tough competitor...one of the top 3-point shooters in the nation...a transfer from West Virginia University. 2009-10: Saw action in24 games and started 17 times...averaged 10.1 points per game...made a team-leading 56 shots from 3-point range...shot 85.7 percent from the free-throw line. 2008-09: Played in 30 games...averaged 6.6 points per game...was 39-for-130 from 3-point range...scored in double figures eight times, with a high of 25 points against Lewis...netted 20 points against Lake Superior State in the NCAA Tournament. 2007-08: Saw action in 27 games...averaged 10.3 points and 2.2 rebounds...earned GLVC Freshman of the Year honors...named GLVC Player of the Week after leading NKU to wins against Southern Indiana and Kentucky Wesleyan.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Ironton High School...averaged 22.4 points per game as a senior...scored a school-record 1,595 career points as a prep athlete...earned first team Division III All-Ohio honors as a senior...a two-time first team all-district selection by the Associated Press and the Southeast Ohio District Player of the Year as a senior...also lettered in baseball and golf at Ironton...coached by Mark Lafon.
