OUTDOOR: Placed fifth in the 1500m at the EKU Rick Erdmann Twilight with a time of 4:24.34...Set a new personal-best in the 10,000m at the Horizon League Outdoor Championships with a time of 35:06.03.

CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in the Belmont Opener and Horizon League Championship

2019-2020

OUTDOOR: Did not compete this season due to COVID-19 pandemic.

INDOOR: Did not compete.

CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all 7 races for the Norse...Posted a new personal-best 5K time of 15:55.10 at the Queen City Invitational. 

2018-19

OUTDOOR: Placed 16th in the 3,000m at the Miami Blizzard Buster with a time of 9:43.36.

INDOOR: Took eighth in the mile at the QDOBA Marshall Invitational posting a time of 4:32.57...Posted a personal-best time of 9:08.07 in the 3,000m at the Thundering Herd Invitational.

CROSS COUNTRY: Posted a season-best 8K time of 25:35.30 at the Jenna Strong Cross Country Invitational for a 16th place finish.

2017-18

OUTDOOR: Ran a season-best in the 3,000m of 9:14.09 in a 12th place finish at the Stan Lyons Invitational...At the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, ran a season-best in the 5,000m of 15:56.88...Ran a season-best in the 1,500m at the Stan Lyons Invitational of 4:24.18.

INDOOR: Ran a season-best time in the 800m with a13th place finish of 2:09.20 at the Fort Wayne Duals...Clocked a time of 4:42.21 in the mile for a season-best time at the Fort Wayne Duals...At the Horizon League Indoor Championship ran an indoor season-best time of 9:18,72 in the 3,000m.

CROSS COUNTRY 2017: Placed 31st at the Queen City Invitational with a 5K time of 16:03.1...At the Division I Pre-Nationals notched an 8K time of 27:14.7...Placed 45th at the 2017 Horizon League XC Championships with a time of 27:29.8.

Prior to NKU: Under coach Dave Pierce at Fairfield High School, Birdsall was named in cross country as second team all-district (one time), first team all-district (three times), All-GMC (four times), All-City (three times), All-Regional (three times), and All-State (one time)...In track he was named first team All-District (two times), All-GMC 3200m (two times), and All-Regional (two times).
