A native of Chillicothe, Ohio. Attended Huntington High School where she was a four-sport student-athlete (basketball, volleyball, track, softball).
Basye is a 5-foot-11 guard/forward who has seen her scoring average increase each season at Huntington, from 18.8 her freshman season, 23.0 her sophomore year, and 28.0 most recently in year three.
Allison has been just as aggressive on the glass for Huntington, averaging 10.0 or more rebounds per game in each of her three seasons as well.
Basye has accumulated plenty of accolades in just three seasons of high school ball including, three-time All-Scioto Valley Conference selection, two-time SVC Player of the Year, two-time District Player of the Year and a three-time All-Ohio selection.
