Biography
PRIOR TO NKU
- A native of Monroe, Wisconsin, Meyer is no stranger to the Norse and the Horizon League as the 6' 8" forward has competed for the past two years in the conference.
- After a Horizon League All-Freshman team nod in 2021-22, Meyer broke out as one of the rising stars in the league this past season as he averaged 10.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest to go with shooting 58.8 percent from the field and 20 blocks.
- Over his two years with the Phoenix, Meyer posted 598 points, 284 rebounds, 43 assists, 30 rejections and 27 steals. Meyer has been a force with Green Bay in the paint, with good patience and footwork down low to go with being a solid scoring option in the back to the basket and mid-range game. He also has the ability to put the ball on the floor to attack the rim. Meyer dropped a career-best 25 points and pulled down a best 11 rebounds this past season. He finished with 18 games of double-digit points and four contests with double-digit boards.
- Prior to Green Bay, Meyer was a standout for Monroe High School where he was named an All-State Honorable Mention to go with being named Second Team All-Conference. In his senior year with the program, he averaged 20.1 points and 9.1 rebounds over 18 contests. He also hit the AAU circuit as he competed with the Wisconsin Playground Club, who were official members of the Under Armour Next Basketball league.
- Coming out of high school, Meyer was ranked as the seventh best student-athlete in the state of Wisconsin by 247 Sports. He was also named the Wisconsin Top Senior Post Player by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association.
