Northern Kentucky women's basketball great Lindsey Duvall has made her return to the NKU sidelines as the Norse's Director of Basketball Operations, a role she took over on Thursday, January 18. 
 
"I am very excited for this opportunity to be back at NKU with this team and coaching staff," Duvall said. "I had such a great experience as a student-athlete and cannot wait to continue that in a different role here at Northern Kentucky University." 
 
Duvall is back in Truist Arena after she posted a standout career with the Norse. In just 79 career games, Duvall recorded 1,347 points, a mark that ranks 12th all-time in school history. Her average of 17.1 points per contest slots in at second in program history and she also is fourth overall in rebounding with an average of 8.2 rebounds per contest. 
 
The Mt. Washington, Kentucky native ranks seventh in made three's (130), 12th in free throws made (291), 16th in free throw percentage (.776) and 18th in career rebounds (650). She also holds the all-time school record with an average of 34.7 minutes played per game.

Duvall led NKU in points for three straight years (2020-2023) and wrapped up her Norse career with an All-League First Team selection. To close out her senior season, she finished first in the Horizon League in points scored (457), third in scoring per game (16.9 points per contest) and seventh in rebounding (7.4 per game). 
 
To go with her success on the court, Duvall was a multi-time recipient of the Horizon League All-Academic Honor Roll. She was also named the NKU Female Athlete of the Year to end her stellar career with the Norse. 
 
Prior to NKU, Duvall was a standout at Bullitt East High School in Mt. Washington where she was named Kentucky's Ms. Basketball her senior year. She was a member of the varsity program of the school since seventh grade. 
 
In her new role at NKU, she will be responsible for all logistical aspects of the program.
