BEFORE NKU: Rushton joins the Norse with five seasons of college basketball experience, spending four seasons at Concordia (Neb.) before most recently playing at Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) in 2024-25...Had one of UTPB's best individual seasons in program history, averaging 16.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per game as she earned Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year honors...Scored a season-high 38 points in a win over Texas A&M Kingsville on December 7...Scored 20 or more points on ten occasions with the Falcons...Finished the season with 486 points, 158 made field goals, and 75 threes, all top-ten single season marks in UTPB's history...Totaled 1924 points, 348 assists, 407 rebounds, and 213 steals over four seasons with Concordia...Was named an NAIA Second Team All-American in 2023-24, averaging 15.2 points per game...Was an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American as both a sophomore and a junior...Named First-Team All-GPAC on four occasions...Ranks top ten in program history in points (third), three-point field goals (second) and assists (tenth).
