HIGH SCHOOL / CLUB CAREER
- A 5-foot-9 defender/midfielder, Carnes hails from Troy, Michigan, where she attends Athens High School.Â
- During her junior season, Carnes helped guide Athens to a 17-2-4 overall record, scoring nine goals and contributing four assists during the year. She will play her senior season with Athens HS this spring.Â
- She has earned numerous accolades including being named team captain, selected as Rookie of the year her freshman season, won Most Valuable Player her junior year, and first team all-league, all-district, all-region and all-state selections.Â
- Carnes saw success at the club level as well, playing for the Michigan Hawks, where in 2019 the program captured the 2019 Michigan State Cup. Currently, Carnes has played eight matches with the squad, netting two goals as well.Â
