Biography

PERSONAL: Sess, a 6'3 middle blocker from Cincinnati, Ohio, comes to NKU from Mercy McAuley High School, where she's played for head coach Matt Schardine. At the club level, Sess plays for Tri-State Elite for coaches Sam Gagnon and Matt Long. With Sess on the roster, Mercy McAuley has racked up 66 wins in four years, going 25-4 last season. Individually, Sess reached 500 career kills this season, and became the school's all-time leader in blocks with her 200th. She was named Second Team GGCL this year. At the club level, Tri-State Elite finished first in the JVA Summerfest, with Sess being named one of JVA's Top 2025 Prospects. 

PERSONAL: Sess is the daughter of Mike and Karen Sess, and has two sisters. Taylor and Aubrey. She plans to major in nursing/medicine at NKU.
