NKU plays road matches at Illinois-Springfield and Quincy this weekend.
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University volleyball team remained seventh in this week's NCAA Division II Midwest Region poll.
NKU is 16-12 overall, 6-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse hit the road this weekend for GLVC matches at Illinois-Springfield (Friday) and Quincy (Saturday).
NKU returns home next week to close out the regular season with matches against nationally ranked Missouri-St. Louis on Nov. 5, and Missouri S&T on Nov. 6. The Norse will then head to the GLVC Tournament, which will be held at the site of the No. 1 seed, likely either Lewis (10-1 GLVC) or Missouri-St. Louis (9-1 GLVC).
Hillsdale is No. 1 in this week's regional poll, followed by Grand Valley State and Northern Michigan. The top eight teams in the poll will earn berths in the NCAA Division II Tournament next month.
