INDIANAPOLIS – Northern Kentucky University women's basketball standout
Casse Mogan has been selected to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference first team, the league office announced Friday.
In addition, NKU's
Brandi Rayburn earned a spot on the All-GLVC third team.
Mogan, a sophomore guard from Circleville, Ohio, averages 17.2 points per game, which is fourth in the GLVC. She enters the GLVC Tournament having scored in double figures in 27 consecutive games.
Mogan leads the GLVC in minutes played at 34.1 per contest. She also averages 5.9 rebounds per game, leads the team with 42 steals and has helped NKU compile a 19-8 record.
Rayburn, a senior forward from Olive Hill, Ky., averages 13.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. She has made 88.2 percent of her free-throw attempts and has 28 steals.
Samantha Meissel of Indianapolis was selected as the GLVC Player of the Year. LeAnn Freeland of Indianapolis earned the Coach of the Year honor.
NKU meets Kentucky Wesleyan in the opening round of the GLVC Tournament on Saturday at 1 p.m. (Central time) at Somers, Wis.
