Norse women improve to 6-2 with 56-44 road victory against Tiffin on Monday

TIFFIN, Ohio – Casse Mogan and Jaimie Hamlet finished with 15 points apiece to lead Northern Kentucky University to a 56-44 win over Tiffin on Monday.

Mogan added five rebounds and two steals for NKU, which improved to 6-2. The Norse held Tiffin (7-3) to 27.8 percent shooting from the field, including 0-for-12 from 3-point range.

Mogan and Hamlet each scored seven points in the first half as NKU built a 31-24 lead. The Norse shot 52.6 percent in the first half and finished at 41.9 percent for the game.

Sadie Bowling finished with seven points and 10 rebounds for NKU, which is 2-0 all-time against Tiffin. Norse senior guard Maria Bennett added seven points.

NKU returns to action Dec. 29 by hosting Ohio Dominican at 7:30 p.m. in The Bank of Kentucky Center as part of a two-day tournament. The Norse face Hillsdale on Dec. 30 to conclude that event.
