HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University travels to Nashville, Tenn., to meet Lipscomb for a key Atlantic Sun Conference volleyball match Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
NKU is 21-6 overall, 8-5 in the A-Sun. Lipscomb owns a 14-10 overall record and is 10-2 in the A-Sun. The Lady Bisons have won the last three A-Sun Tournament championships and four of the last five titles.
Earlier this season in Regents Hall, Lipscomb defeated NKU in five sets (16-25, 25-15, 23-25, 26-24, 15-13) to begin the A-Sun schedule.
20 AGAIN: The NKU volleyball team clinched its 20th consecutive 20-win season last week with a sweep of Eastern Kentucky in Regents Hall.
THE LAST TIME AGAINST LIPSCOMB: Earlier this season on Sept. 18, Lauren Ford posted 20 kills, including five in a thrilling fifth set, leading Lipscomb to a 3-2 (16-25, 25-15, 23-25, 26-24, 15-13) victory over NKU in Regents Hall.
Jenna Ruble led the Norse with 15 kills and was one of three players to post double-digit kills for NKU.
Shelby Buschur added 13 kills for the Norse, and
Haley Lippert slammed down 11 kills.
Kylee Tarantino collected 28 digs to pace the Norse defense.
